Graduating Student Account Closure Notification
Dear Graduating High School Students,
As the end of the academic year approaches, we would like to inform you that your school Google accounts will be disabled on June 13, 2023. We understand that many of you have utilized various Google services throughout your time at AUSD, and we want to ensure that you have the opportunity to retain your data. To facilitate this process, we recommend using the Google Takeout tool. Google Takeout allows you to export and download your data from different Google services, including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Photos, YouTube, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, and more. By using this tool, you can create a backup of your information or migrate it to a personal account. To access the Google Takeout tool, please visit the following link: https://takeout.google.com. This link will guide you through the process of selecting the specific Google services you want to export and provide customization options for file format, size, and delivery method. Once your data is ready for download, you will be provided with a link to retrieve it. We highly encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity if you wish to retain any data associated with your school Google account. Please note that after June 13, 2023, your account will be disabled, and you may no longer have access to your data stored within these services.
