Instructions For AUSD VPN Access

 

 

Step 1: Download the FortiClient VPN application

 

 https://www.fortinet.com/support/product-downloads#vpn Select “FortiClient VPN only”

 

 

 

 

Select your Operating System

 

Step 2: Launch the installer once download is complete

 

 

1. Read the License Agreement
2. Select “Yes, I have read and accept the”
3. Select Next

 

 

Select Install

 

 

 

Step 3: Launch the “FortiClient VPN” application and select “Configure VPN”

 

 

Step 4: Provide the following information

1. Connection Name: AUSD
2. Remote Gateway: vpn.ausd.us
3. ☑ Customize port: 443
4. Save

 

 

 

Step 5: Login with your AUSD username and password

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 6: You will prompted to enter a Token

 

 

Acquiring A 2 Factor Authentication Token

 

Step 1: Download the FortiToken app on your mobile device

• • Apple - App Store
  • Android - Google Play

 

 

Step 2: A QR code will be sent to your AUSD email as an attachment Sender: [email protected]   Subject: FTM Activation on FortiGate

 

 

Step 3: Press the + sign on the FortiToken app on your mobile device to launch the camera

 

 

 

Step 4: With your camera, scan the QR code that was sent to your AUSD email.

 

A 6 digit code will now appear on the app.
