Knowledge Base Article: Reporting Inappropriate TikTok Accounts

To ensure a safe and appropriate environment on TikTok, staff members may need to report inappropriate or harmful accounts. Follow these simple steps to report an account:

Reporting Within the TikTok App:

1. Open TikTok and navigate to the profile of the account you need to report.

2. Tap on the three dots (•••) in the upper right corner of the profile page.

3. Select "Report" from the options provided.

4. Choose the reason that best describes the inappropriate behavior and follow the prompts to submit your report.

Reporting via Web Form:

If you prefer or need additional reporting methods outside of the app:

1. Visit TikTok's official reporting page: TikTok Report a Problem.

2. Select the relevant topic or category describing your issue.

3. Fill out all required details clearly and submit the form.
