Student Account Search Procedure

 

This procedure addresses all aspects of searching student accounts, emphasizing the proactive identification, prevention, and mitigation of inappropriate, harmful, or threatening online activities, including cyber threats.  Monitoring involves regular reviews and searches of district-issued devices, email accounts, Google Workspace, and other technology resources provided by the Alhambra Unified School District (AUSD). The primary goal is to uphold the district's Acceptable Use Policy, AUSD Board Policy 6163.4, Parent-Student Handbook guidelines, and compliance with the Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA).
