Information on activating and displaying Student Score Reports from State Testing (TOMS, SBAC, ELPAC, etc.)

Alhambra Unified uses the option of Access SSRs Using a Locally Provided Parent or Student Portal

Reports are pulled directly from TOMS through the use of and API and displayed to both staff and the parent portal.

TIS Instructions to setup API credentials:

• Establish an SIS Vendor Credential through TOMS
  • Information found here: https://ca-toms-help.ets.org/toms/credentialing/
• Enter credential information into Powerschool
  1. Click on System
  2. Click on Electronic Reporting Communication Setup
  3. Enter credential information from TOMS
  4. Click Test Connection to make sure it works
  5. Click Save
• Credentials last 365 days from the day they are created. This must be repeated annually.

Viewing instructions for staff:

1. Go to a student record in Powerschool
2. Click on Score Reports on the left-side menu
3. You may filter for the Assessment and the School Year, or simply select All to view all available
   • Make sure to click Get Report
4. Click View on the assessment you wish to view

Viewing instructions for parents:

1. Click on child's name on top row, if more than one
2. Click on Score Reports on the left-side menu
3. You may filter for the Assessment and the School Year, or simply select All to view all available
   • Make sure to click Get Report
